What is Rosacea?

A word of caution: Geraniol which can be found in lavender essential oil, rose oil, geranium oil, palmarosa oil, jasmine oil, citronella oil, and other essential oils can be irritants for rosacea in some people. So you should test lavender oil in a small area of your face, first, before trying all over your face. If any redness occurs in the test spot, do not use the oil on the rest of your face. Lavender essential oil for rosacea should be used after consulting a doctor and shouldn’t be used if you are allergic to lavender.
When used properly, and with caution, using lavender essential oil for rosacea can work miracles.
